Middle School Grading & Assessment
Grades are given as single number grades: 4, 3, 2, 1, IE.
A grade of IE means that the teacher is unable to assess the student due to missing assignments or poor attendance.
A grade of EX means that the student is exempt from the assignment, and the reason for exemption will appear in the comment box of PowerSchool.
Your grade is composed of the following elements:
Assessments: Written work, Video PassOffs, Reflections, Rhythm Counting
Learning Behaviors: On time, supplies, music, instrument, pencil, behavior
